The camera uses a 1/2.0'' CMOS sensor, and the effective pixels are 48 MP.
3.What picture shooting modes are available for the Mavic Air 2?
Single shot, burst, auto exposure bracketing (AEB), interval, HDR photography, hyperlight, HDR pano (vertical 180°, wide pano, horizontal 180° pano, and sphere), and SmartPhoto (refer to User Manual for the final English name).
4.What format and resolution are supported when downloading photos and videos to a mobile device?
Photo: Only JPG photos can be downloaded to the mobile device. RAW is not supported. The resolution is not limited.
Video: 4K or lower resolution videos can be downloaded to the mobile device. Whether the video can be played on the mobile device depends on the mobile device's hardware.
5.Can the camera zoom in or out?

Remote Controller

No.
2.How are the combination buttons used to link the remote controller and aircraft?
Press the customizable button on the top left, the photo/video toggle on the top right, and the shoot/record button on the top of the remote controller together simultaneously for about two seconds. Then, the remote controller will make beeping sounds and the battery level indicators on the remote controller will light up consecutively, indicating that the linking has been triggered.

5.What should be done if the image transmission gets stuck?
a. It is recommended that users fly the aircraft in an open environment where wireless interference is minimal.
b. Close any apps that are running in the background on the mobile device.
c. Pay attention to the direction that the antennas point. Ensure the antennas point to the aircraft.

Vision System

1.What situations are not suitable for the vision systems to work?
a. Flying over a monochrome surface (e.g., pure black, pure white, pure red, pure green).
b. Flying over a highly reflective surface.
c. Flying over water or transparent surfaces.
d. Flying over moving surfaces or objects (e.g., people that are moving, brushes or grass blown by high wind)
e. Flying in an area where the lighting changes frequently or drastically.
f. Flying over extremely dark (<10 lux) or bright (> 10,000 lux) surfaces.
g. Flying over surfaces that strongly reflect or absorb infrared waves (e.g., mirrors).
h. Flying over surfaces without clear patterns or textures.
i. Flying over surfaces with repeating identical patterns or textures (e.g., tiles with similar colors).
2.Can the aircraft fly over water surfaces?
It is not recommended that users fly the aircraft too close above water surfaces. When the aircraft is flying over a water surface, the vision positioning function will be disabled automatically, and the flight altitude information will be determined by the GPS position information and barometer. As the accuracy of the position information is relatively low in the situation, the aircraft may fall into the water.
3.Can the aircraft take off in a foggy environment?
Do not fly the aircraft in a foggy environment. Otherwise, the aircraft vision systems may malfunction, and the aircraft may even fail to land.
4.What is the sensing range of the vision systems?
Forward:

No.
4.When using the battery for the first time, the battery does not turn on. How can this issue be handled?
To ensure the battery safety in transportation, the batteries will be put into the hibernation state in advance. Users need to use the charger to charge the battery so that it can be awakened.
5.How is the Mavic Air 2 charged?
Users can connect the battery to the charger to charge it, or insert the battery into the battery charging hub to charge three batteries. The battery cannot be charged if users connect the aircraft to the charger.
6.Should the battery be powered off before charging?
Yes, the battery should be powered off before charging. The power port may be damaged if the battery is not powered off before charging.
7.Battery Maintenance Tips
If the battery is to be kept idle for a long time, then ensure the battery level is about 60%. It is also recommended that users charge and discharge the battery every month so the battery can be kept in a better way.

The battery charging hub will charge the batteries one by one according to battery levels. The battery with the highest battery level (charge remaining) will be charged first.

If more than 25 photos have been taken, then the video that can be generated is longer than one second. In this case, no matter whether the hyperlapse video shooting is finished normally or exited abnormally (for example, if it is interrupted by low battery RTH), the aircraft will still stitch the video by default.
4.Is precision landing supported?

Upgrading

a.The battery level should be at least 40% before the update; otherwise, the update cannot be performed.
b.If the aircraft or remote controller is powered off during the update, the update will fail. In this case, users should power on the device and update the firmware again.
c. The update will fail if the network is disconnected while the firmware package is being downloaded.
d.If the aircraft update fails several times or the remote controller cannot link to the aircraft, then it is possible that the remote controller firmware version and aircraft firmware version are not matched. In this case, it is recommended that users use DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic on the computer to update the remote controller and aircraft separately to the latest version.
