1. What are the main differences between the P4A and P4P?
The P4A d inherits most of the functions of the P4P. However, in order to increase affordability, unlike the P4P, the P4A does not have Rearward Vision Sensor and two Infrared Sensors in its Flight Autonomy system. Also, its remote controller supports the 2.4 GHz frequency band and does not support the 5.8 GHz frequency band.
2. What propellers does the P4A use?
The P4A uses DJI 9450 quick-release propellers.
3. What's the P4A’s maximum speed?
In S-mode, 20 meters per second.
In P-mode, 14 meters per second.
In A-mode, top speed varies depending on environmental factors.

4. What is the P4A’s maximum flight time?
The P4A can fly for up to 30 minutes in ideal conditions. Actual flight time varies based on environmental conditions and operation.
5. How do I calibrate the P4A's Forward and Downward Vision Systems?
The Forward and Downward Vision Systems can be calibrated with DJI Assistant 2 and DJI GO 4. If there is an error with the Forward or Downward Vision System, a prompt stating that auto calibration for the Vision System is required will pop up in the DJI GO 4. Follow the instructions in the DJI GO 4 to calibrate. For the best results, we recommend calibrating the Forward and Downward Vision Systems with DJI Assistant 2. If you don’t have a computer at hand, calibrate them with DJI GO 4.
Gimbal Camera
1. What is the difference between the P4A’s gimbal and camera and the P4P’s?
The P4A’s gimbal and camera is that of P4P and shares the same specifications with the P4P.
2. Which Mirco SD cards are supported by the P4A?
It is not recommended to use an UHS-II SD card, as it does not meet the requirement of write speed for the P4A. Currently supported Micro SD card are listed below:

3. Does the P4A support mechanical shutter?
Yes. A mechanical shutter can prevent jello effect when shooting fast moving objects. You can also turn off the mechanical shutter and enable the electronic shutter in DJI GO.
4. Can the ND filter for P4P cameras be used with the P4A?
Yes.
5. What’s the P4A’s maximum video bit rate?
100 Mbps.
Remote Controller
1. What is the difference between the P4A and P4A+?
The aircraft of the P4A and P4A+ are the same. But the P4A+ remote controller has a built-in screen.
2. Is the P4A remote controller interchangeable with the P4P remote controller?
Only the remote controller with a built-in screens are interchangeable.
3. Is the P4A remote controller interchangeable with the P4 remote controller?
No.
4. Can my remote controller output HDMI signal?
The P4A’s remote controller can output HDMI signal with the HDMI Module installed and a mobile device. After installing the HDMI Module, upgrade the remote controller’s firmware to the latest version.

Video Downlink
1. What is the difference between P4A and P4P Lightbridge systems?
The P4A remote controller supports 2.4GHz frequency band and cannot switch between 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz. The maximum transmission range can reach 4.3mi (7km).
2. What is the transmission latency of the P4A’s downlink?
Around 220ms for the remote controller without the display and around 180ms for the one with the display. The actual transmission latency depends on your mobile device’s performance and environmental interference.
3. What’s the maximum resolution of the P4A’s video downlink?
720P@30FPS. Actual transmission resolution depends on your mobile device’s performance and environmental interference.
Battery
1. Is the P4A battery compatible with other P4 series aircraft?
The P4A battery capacity is 5870 mAh and compatible with other P4 series aircraft.
2. What is the wattage of the P4A’s charger?
100W.
3. Can I charge the Intelligent Flight Battery and remote controller with the charger at the same time?
The DJI charger can charge the Intelligent Flight Battery and remote controller. But it is not recommended to charge the Intelligent Flight Battery and remote controller at the same time.
Software Function
1. Does the P4A support focus?
Tap a point on the display in DJI GO 4 to focus on that point after switching from metering to focus modes. If the remote controller with a built-in screen is used, auto focus can also be triggered by half-pressing the shutter button, before fully pressing the shutter to capture an image. Focus can be set between 1m and infinity.
2. At what speed does the P4A’s vision positioning system stop working?
14 m/s.
3. What’s the max speed of P4A in ActiveTrack mode?
14 m/s, the same as the max speed in P mode.
