No. The P4P V2.0 uses FOC ESC drivers, which reduces the noise of the drone.

Gimbal and Camera

1.What are the specifications of the P4P V2.0’s camera?
The P4P V2.0’s camera is the same as the P4P’s. It is equipped with a 1-inch 20-megapixel sensor,supporting shooting 4096x2160 videos at 60 fps (H.264) or 30 fps (H.265) with a maximum bitrate of 100 Mbps. It also has a manually adjustable aperture from F2.8 to F11. Auto, M, A (aperture priority), and S (shutter priority) modes are available. 2. Is the ND filter for the P4P’s camera compatible with the P4P V2.0?
Yes.
3. Why can’t the gimbal point forward horizontally when I’m flying in S-mode?
In S-mode, the aircraft can tilt up to 42 degrees, while the gimbal can move at most 45 degrees upward and 120 degrees downward. Hence, the gimbal cannot point forward horizontally when the aircraft is flying quickly in S-mode. To solve such issue, move the pitch of the gimbal downward by at least 12 degrees when flying in S-mode.
4. What is the maximum video bitrate of the P4P V2.0?
100 Mbps.

Remote Controller

1. What are the differences between the P4P V2.0 and P4P+ V2.0 ?
Their remote controllers are different.
The P4P+ V2.0’s remote controller includes a 5.5-inch, 1080p, 1000 nit built-in display. Its screen can be seen clearly in direct sunlight. It can be used in low-temperature environments, and a mobile device is no longer required. The remote controller also features an HDMI port, a micro-SD card slot, a built-in microphone, and a speaker, which allows for live streaming and video editing anytime, anywhere.
2. Is the P4P V2.0’s remote controller interchangeable with the P4P’s?
No, as their image transmission technologies are different.
3. How can I tell the P4P V2.0’s remote controller and P4P’s apart?
A. The color of the DJI logo on the top of the P4P’s remote controller is silver, while that of the P4P V2.0 is gold.
B. Heat dissipation holes are added to the bottom of the P4P V2.0’s remote controller.
4. What change does the P4P V2.0’s remote controller have?
The P4P V2.0’s remote controller uses a new OcuSync transmission technology, which allows a wireless connection to DJI Goggles RE.
5. Can I mount an external HDMI module to the P4P V2.0’s remote controller?

6. Can I switch my remote controller between FCC and CE?
Users cannot switch between FCC and CE manually. The remote controller will enable FCC or CE mode based on your location in accordance with local laws and regulations.
7. How can I link my remote controller to the P4P V2.0?
A.Using DJI GO 4: Tap “Link Remote Controller” under Remote Controller Settings. The remote controller’s Status LED will blink blue, and you will hear a “DDD…” alarm. Then press the drone’s Link Button with a proper tool to link your remote controller to the P4P V2.0.
B.Using a Button Combination: Press the C1, C2 and video recording buttons at the same time. After the remote controller’s Status LED blinks blue, and you hear a “DDD…” alarm, press the drone’s Link Button with a proper tool to link your remote controller to the P4P V2.0.

Video Downlink

1. What video downlink technology does the P4P V2.0 use?
The P4P V2.0 is powered by a new OcuSync transmission system, and it supports 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency bands.
2. What is the effective transmission distance of the P4P V2.0’s remote controller?
FCC: 10 km, CE: 6 km (Unobstructed, free of interference).
Actual transmission distance varies depending environmental conditions and operation.(2.4GHz)
3. What is the resolution of the P4P V2.0’s video downlink?
Smooth Mode: 720p 60 fps
Normal Mode: 720p 30 fps
HD Mode: 1080p 30 fps
It can be set under the Image Transmission Settings in DJI GO 4.
4.What should I do when DJI GO 4 displays a “Weak Remote Controller Signal. Adjust antenna.” warning?
The remote controller’s signal will be affected if its antennas are not positioned properly. Try to adjust the antennas.

Battery

1.What are the specifications of the P4P V2.0’s Intelligent Flight Battery?

2. How long does it take to fully charge the P4P V2.0’s Intelligent Flight Battery?
Around 90 minutes.
3.What can I do to protect my P4P V2.0’s battery?
Keep the Intelligent Flight Battery away from water or moisture. Battery level should fall between 45% and 65% when the Intelligent Flight Battery is to be stored for a long period. If the Intelligent Flight Battery is to be stored for more than three months, it should be fully charged and discharged once every three months to avoid over-discharging.
4.Is it normal that the visual representation of the battery cells is yellow under the Aircraft Battery screen in DJI GO 4?
Yes, when the voltage of the battery cells is lower than 3.62 V, the display will turn yellow.
5.How should I use the Intelligent Flight Battery in a low-temperature environment?
Battery capacity will decrease significantly when the Intelligent Flight Battery is used at low temperatures (below minus 10 degree Celsius). It is recommended to warm up the Intelligent Flight Battery to 20 degrees Celsius before a flight.
6.Why will the P4P V2.0’s battery emit heat when it has been stored for a long period?
When the battery has been stored for a long period with over 65% charge, the auto-discharging function will be triggered. The Intelligent Flight Battery will discharge to 65% of its total power automatically while emitting moderate heat.

Software

1. Can I use the same method to update the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0’s firmware as the Phantom 4 Pro’s?
The Phantom 4 Pro V2.0’s firmware can be updated with both DJI GO 4 and DJI Assistant 2. But the update methods differ.
If updating with DJI GO 4, the mobile device and drone do not need to be connected to the USB OTG cable and micro USB cable anymore. Instead, the remote controller’s firmware and aircraft’s firmware can be updated in the app at the same time.
When updating with DJI Assistant 2, you can choose to update the remote controller’s firmware or aircraft’s firmware separately or update both of them at the same time.
2. In which conditions will the left, and right infrared sensors work?
The left and right infrared sensors will only function in Beginner Mode and Tripod Mode.
3. What mobile devices are compatible with DJI GO 4?
DJI GO 4 can run on both iOS and Android mobile devices. For more details, please see the Specifications on the product page on DJI’s official website.
4. What is the sensing range of the left and right infrared sensors?
